Hey everyone!
Happy Wednesday and thanks for reading :)
Tesla, Boeing, SpaceX, ByteDance, Caterpillar, and SK hynix all posted something.
I kept a few smaller companies too, including a $117K-$138K storage role that accepts school projects and a remote full-stack job open to bootcamp and self-taught applicants.
Let's get into it!
TODAY'S DROP
9 roles
5 full-time
4 internships
9 salary-listed
Best companies: Tesla, Boeing, SpaceX, ByteDance, Caterpillar, SK hynix
APPLY FIRST
Level: Internship, graduating December 2026 to December 2027
Location: Palo Alto, CA / On site
Pay: $50.04-$58.84/hr
This is on Tesla's charging team, but the work goes well beyond looking at EV usage charts. The intern will help choose charging locations, build fleet and pricing models, and test charging strategies inside Tesla's robotaxi simulator. Best for someone with Python, SQL, and an ML or data project they can show.
Level: Entry level
Location: El Segundo, CA / On site
Pay: $83,300-$112,700/yr
Boeing is hiring onto its Satellite Space Mission Systems team. The job covers mission software from development through testing and deployment, and the basic requirements are a bachelor's degree, Git, and experience with C/C++, Java, or Python. You must be a US citizen and able to get a Secret clearance.
Level: Early career, 1+ years
Location: Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA / On site
Pay: $100,000-$130,000/yr
This is closer to internal AI product work than a traditional operations job. You would prototype apps that connect SpaceX teams to Grok and other LLM tools, then help with retrieval, agents, and evaluation. They ask for at least one year of engineering or operations experience. Also note the 25% travel and occasional extended hours or weekends.
BROUGHT TO YOU BY ANTIGPT
Used ChatGPT to help with your resume or cover letter? Give it one last pass before a recruiter reads it. AntiGPT cleans up the stiff AI wording so the final version sounds more like you.
INTERNSHIPS
This team uses machine learning to catch fraud and other risks across ByteDance's e-commerce products. It pays $57.75/hr in Seattle and is open to BS/MS students with a strong ML background plus Python, SQL or Hive, and Hadoop.
Caterpillar's internship is broader than pure SWE, with possible work across software, cloud, data, automation, and infrastructure. It is open to technical majors with a 3.0 GPA and pays $22.50-$40.25/hr. Relocation and a housing stipend are available.
SK hynix is one of the major memory-chip companies. This San Jose internship mixes security and infrastructure work, including cryptography, certificates, Python, GPU clusters, and model-serving tools such as Triton. Pay is $35-$45/hr.
NEW GRAD / EARLY CAREER
Crusoe builds the infrastructure behind large AI workloads. This team works on cloud storage from bare metal up to customer-facing APIs, and internships or school projects count toward the experience requirement. Good one for Java or Go students who want to learn distributed systems. Pay is $117K-$138K in San Francisco.
Tebra makes software for independent healthcare practices. This is a remote US backend role using Java, Spring Boot, databases, and cloud services. They ask for a CS-related degree and one year of software experience. Pay is $80.5K-$86.9K.
Entertainment Partners handles payroll, residuals, and other software for film and TV productions. This junior role uses React and TypeScript on the front end with Python and FastAPI on the back. It is open to candidates with 0-3 years of experience, including bootcamp or self-taught applicants with projects. JobRight lists it as remote, although the posting also mentions some Burbank hybrid onboarding. Pay is $70K-$95K.
APPLICATION MOVE OF THE DAY
For the Tesla and ByteDance roles, link one project where you handled a messy dataset and explain the decision your analysis or model helped make. “Used Python” does not tell them much.
Best of luck!
See you shortly,
