Hey everyone!
Hope you had a good weekend :)
Sorry I disappeared for a couple days. I was busy doing very important work: reading an unreasonable number of job descriptions so you wouldn't have to.
It paid off though. Ramp has a remote Android role in Canada, Neuralink is hiring BCI software interns, and L3Harris has a proper new grad SWE opening for anyone graduating now or within the last year.
Let's get into it!
TODAY'S DROP
10 roles
6 new grad / early career
4 internships
7 salary-listed
Best companies: Ramp, Neuralink, L3Harris, AWS, ByteDance, BMW, Citadel
APPLY FIRST
Level: Early career (1+ year)
Location: Canada, remote
Pay: $189K-$330K
Ramp handles corporate cards, expenses, and bill pay for more than 70,000 companies. This team works on the Android app, and the role asks for one year of mobile experience. If you shipped a Kotlin app during an internship or on your own, take the shot.
Level: Internship
Location: South San Francisco, onsite
Pay: Not listed
Neuralink interns on the BCI applications team work directly with clinical trial participants and build software controlled by brain activity. They want strong full-stack or mobile experience, especially Swift, Kotlin, or Java. Definitely one of the more unusual internships you'll see this year.
Level: New grad
Location: Yorba Linda, onsite
Pay: $76K-$140K
L3Harris is a major aerospace and defense contractor, and this is a proper new grad role: current students and anyone who finished their bachelor's within the last 12 months can apply. You'd be writing embedded software for tactical radios across C, C++, Python, and Linux.

NEW GRAD / EARLY CAREER
Anything is a tiny San Francisco startup that turns prompts into mobile and web apps. This backend role is TypeScript-heavy, pays $125K-$200K, and accepts strong projects or internships as proof you can do the work. You will get a lot of ownership here, which is either exciting or mildly terrifying depending on the person.
Justworks handles payroll, benefits, and HR for small businesses. They want one year of backend experience plus Python, Java, Node, or Ruby, so it makes sense if your internship was more server-side than frontend. New York, hybrid, $115K-$160K.
Not a traditional SWE title, but a fun one for anyone who likes film tech. Sony Pictures Imageworks needs someone in Vancouver to build Python and Nuke tools for VFX artists and fix pipeline problems during production.
Also not classic SWE, but it is a direct way into AWS infrastructure. You'd troubleshoot servers inside a data center, and the requirements stop at one year of hardware or IT experience plus a high school diploma. Boardman, Oregon, $27.98-$48.99/hour.
INTERNSHIPS
ByteDance's security SRE internship is for students who know Linux plus Go, Python, or shell. The team works on the systems that keep security services reliable, so it is worth opening if your projects lean infra rather than app development. San Jose, $45-$60/hour.
BMW's fall Data & AI internship sits inside IT, with a mix of data engineering and AI work. You need to be enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program, have US work authorization, and carry a 3.0 GPA. Columbus, hybrid.
This one is extremely specific: PhD students in CS, math, stats, or physics. If that is you, the role mixes quant research with C++ and Python engineering, and the pay is $4,500-$5,800 per week in New York.
APPLICATION MOVE OF THE DAY
Monday reminder: when a role asks for one year, count internships, co-ops, research, and serious shipped projects before you talk yourself out of it.
Best of luck!
See you shortly,
