Monday gave us a much better new-grad batch than I expected. Whatnot is hiring 2026 grads in New York, ByteDance has a new cloud infrastructure role, and NVIDIA has a remote opening on its AI inference team.

There are two internships at the bottom too, including one on Zipline's mapping team.

Level: New grad (2026)

Location: New York, NY / Hybrid

Pay: $140,000-$150,000/yr

Why first: Whatnot is the live-shopping app where people sell everything from trading cards to sneakers. This role touches both product features and the systems behind a marketplace with more than a million users. They do ask for some industry experience, so this makes the most sense if you already have an internship behind you. You also need to graduate by summer 2026 and live near New York.

Level: New grad (BS/MS)

Location: San Jose, CA / On site

Pay: $123,000-$317,000/yr

Why first: ByteDance is TikTok's parent company. This team works on the Kubernetes and distributed-systems layer behind its AI workloads. It is open to BS/MS grads, and Docker or Kubernetes work from classes, internships, or personal projects counts.

Level: New grad (MS/PhD)

Location: United States / Remote

Pay: $124,000-$196,000/yr

Why first: This team works on Triton and Dynamo, the software NVIDIA uses to serve AI models on GPUs. The role is remote, but it is aimed at MS/PhD grads with strong Rust or C++ and experience with distributed or ML systems.

Production infrastructure here means Kubernetes, storage, cloud systems, and the software Palantir deploys in government environments. There is no formal experience minimum, but US citizenship and clearance eligibility are required. The Seattle role is hybrid and pays $145K-$155K.

Old Mission is a Chicago trading firm. This grad program is C++ heavy, with Python, SQL, Linux, and a little React in the mix. The requirements are a quantitative degree and a 3.0 GPA. Pay is $175K-$200K, and the start date is August 2027.

Nuro builds self-driving software. This team profiles and speeds up the code that lets an autonomous vehicle react in real time, so it is a good one for C++ students who liked operating systems and computer architecture. The requirements are technical, but there is no previous-work requirement listed. Pay is $153K-$175K in Mountain View.

Scale wants an intern who has already built something with an LLM API. You would use Python or JavaScript to make agent workflows and small internal tools that connect Slack, Salesforce, and Notion. It is open to current undergrad and grad students in San Francisco or New York and pays $74.4K-$93K annualized.

Zipline runs drone-delivery networks, and the Maps team builds the routing and spatial-data tools behind them. You need two years of undergrad completed and strong algorithms skills. Prior maps experience is only a nice-to-have. The internship is on site in South San Francisco.

For the infra and performance roles, add one project bullet that says what you sped up, scaled, or automated. The tool matters less than the before-and-after.
