A few good ones made it through: NVIDIA, Esri, Netic, Antares, plus remote internships at OneEthos and Ritual.

Location: Santa Clara or Seattle / Hybrid-friendly

Why first: The DGX Cloud team is tuning Kubernetes for AI clusters with thousands of GPUs. It is a new-grad posting, but the bar is high: Kubernetes, distributed systems, Go or Python, and performance work. I would apply if your strongest project is infrastructure or open-source work.
Level: Early career (1+ year)
Location: Redlands, CA / On site
Pay: $79,040-$133,016/yr
Why first: ArcGIS Enterprise is the mapping software used by companies and public agencies around the world. The role is mostly JavaScript and TypeScript, including moving older Dojo screens toward newer frontend tooling. Esri asks for one year of experience, so a solid internship could be enough.
Level: New grad (2026-2027 starts)
Location: San Francisco / On site
Pay: Not listed
Why first: Netic has raised $43M to build AI agents for home-service businesses. New grads on this team work on orchestration, evals, guardrails, and the system that lets agents test other agents. Coursework and personal projects count, and you get a dedicated mentor. Still in school? They posted a 12-week internship for the same team too.
NEW GRAD / EARLY CAREER
Antares is building small nuclear reactors for defense, remote locations, and eventually space. The software connects reactor controls, telemetry, simulations, and hardware. Level I is open to 0-2 years and pays $120K-$135K. A good fit if your Python projects usually end with a sensor, controller, or robot attached. US export rules apply.
Nidec makes the motors and control systems inside everything from appliances to industrial equipment. The St. Louis team is adding software to HVAC products, with desktop apps, embedded code, databases, and hardware debugging in the same job. It is open to 0-3 years.
INTERNSHIPS
OneEthos makes solar-financing software for community banks and installers. The remote fall internship is surprisingly hands-on for a tiny company: Next.js, APIs, an AI-assisted product workflow, and a real app migration. You will probably see more of the product than you would at a 10,000-person company.
Ritual is building blockchain infrastructure for AI agents. The internship is remote and mostly rapid prototypes around cryptography, machine learning, and open-source work. Niche, yes, but a nice fit if your side projects already sound a little confusing to your parents.
