Hey everyone!

Happy Friday and thanks for reading :)

I missed yesterday's send, so today's list is doing a little overtime. Roblox opened an early-career ads role, HRT is paying $5.8k/week for its 2027 SWE internship, and Milliman has a remote AI job where projects and internships count.

A few smaller names are worth a look too. Mach is hiring fall interns to work on autonomous systems, and Gumloop wants someone who can design a product and then build it in React. A dangerous amount of responsibility for an intern, but at least you will not spend the semester renaming buttons in Figma.

Let's get into it!

TODAY'S DROP

6 new grad / early career

4 internships

Best companies: Roblox, Hudson River Trading, Optum, Milliman, Mach Industries

APPLY FIRST

Level: Early career

Location: San Mateo, CA / Hybrid

Pay: $153,120-$195,780/yr

Why first: This team builds the ad tools used by brands, advertisers, and Roblox creators. Internships count toward the 1-3 years, and the work moves between React and TypeScript on the front end and Go or C# on the back end.

Level: Internship

Location: Austin, Chicago, New York, or Singapore / On site

Pay: $5,800/week in the US

Why first: HRT interns move onto real C++ or Python projects in their first week, with housing and meals covered. This one is for undergrads graduating in 2028, and yes, the $5,800-a-week number is real.

Level: New grad / early career

Location: United States / Remote

Pay: $78,800-$145,130/yr

Why first: Milliman is a large consulting firm, and this team builds AI prototypes and internal tools for insurance and financial clients. They count coursework, personal projects, internships, and open-source work toward the 1-3 years.

NEW GRAD / EARLY CAREER

UST is a large IT services company. This team builds data-heavy full-stack apps and APIs, and the posting is specifically for 2024-2026 grads with 0-3 years of experience. Bellevue, $50-$55/hr.

Optum is the health-tech side of UnitedHealth Group. The role is remote and involves shipping AI features in Python; it asks for one year, so it is a better fit if you have at least one solid internship. $77K-$138K.

General Atomics builds drones, radar systems, and other aerospace technology. You only need a related bachelor's degree, some C or Python, and a basic understanding of software development. Poway, $72K-$110K.

Revolutional is modernizing older federal systems for DHS. The role is remote and uses Java, Spring Boot, React, and AWS; it asks for at least one year of development experience. US citizenship and the ability to get a Public Trust clearance are required.

INTERNSHIPS

Mach is a defense startup building autonomous aircraft and other unmanned systems. Depending on the team, interns can work on guidance software, embedded firmware, simulations, or hardware integration. Open to BS, MS, and PhD students, $1,800-$2,100/week.

Gumloop makes tools that let companies build AI agents without stitching everything together themselves. This is half product design and half frontend engineering, so they want a final-year student with React, TypeScript, and a portfolio that proves both. San Francisco, $8K-$10K/month.

TIFIN builds AI tools for wealth managers and financial institutions. The internship is mostly Python, APIs, and backend work, and they accept experience from coursework or research. Open to current or recent BS/MS grads in Boulder, $17-$25/hr.

Best of luck!

See you shortly,
