Hey everyone!
Hope everyone had a good weekend and thanks for reading :)
A surprisingly good Monday batch today. Google has a new early-career AI program, Intuit is hiring SWE 1s, and there are fresh roles at Roblox and Mastercard too.
The internships are pretty ridiculous as well. Palantir, Neuralink, Rocket Lab, and two quant firms, including one paying $14k/month.
Let's get into it!
TODAY'S DROP
5 new grad / early career
5 internships
Best companies: Google, Intuit, Roblox, Palantir, Neuralink
APPLY FIRST
Level: Early career
Location: Sunnyvale, CA / On site
Pay: $123,000-$175,000/yr + bonus and equity
Why first: Google is rotating this group through three teams across AI and infrastructure before placing them permanently. Coursework, projects, research, and internships all count toward the requirements, and applications close July 14. If you have anything AI/ML on your resume, I would not leave this one sitting in a tab.
Level: New grad
Location: Mountain View, Atlanta, New York, or San Diego
Pay: $53.50-$78/hr, depending on location
Why first: This is Intuit's general new-grad SWE posting for people with less than two years of experience. Coursework, internships, and personal projects all count, then they match you to a team across products like TurboTax, QuickBooks, Credit Karma, or Mailchimp.
Level: Internship
Location: Palo Alto, CA / On site
Pay: $10,500/month
Why first: Palantir interns can land on Gotham, Foundry, or Apollo and work through the full product cycle with a dedicated mentor. The requirements are broad: one programming language plus solid CS fundamentals. They want this to be your final internship before graduation.
NEW GRAD / EARLY CAREER
Roblox - Software Engineer, User Sharing - This is the team building how people capture and share moments from Roblox experiences. It asks for two years of industry experience, so it is more early-career than true new grad, but the work can lean frontend or backend and pays $153K-$212K.
Mastercard - Software Engineer II - Ignore the II for a second: Mastercard explicitly describes this as an entry-level or early-career role. Java is required, but the rest is foundational SWE, testing, and version control. On site in O'Fallon, Missouri, with $92K-$147K listed.
Peraton - Software Engineer - Peraton is a large US government contractor, and this full-stack role says no previous full-stack work experience is required. They want school or project experience with Java, Python, React or Angular, SQL, and even Claude Code, Copilot, or Codex. Pay is $66K-$106K in Blacksburg, with US citizenship and clearance eligibility required.
INTERNSHIPS
Neuralink - Software Engineer Intern, Infrastructure - This is not the implant software itself. The team builds cloud and on-prem infrastructure, networking, CI, and hardware-in-the-loop testing for Neuralink's engineers, scientists, and doctors. Best for people with some Linux, networking, Terraform, Kubernetes, Rust, or Go experience. South San Francisco, $35/hr.
Walleye Capital - Volatility Trading Developer Intern, Summer 2027 - Walleye is a $16B investment firm, and this internship sits with volatility traders and developers building execution, risk, and P&L tools. It pays $14,000/month plus a $10,000 housing stipend in New York. Open to undergrad or non-MBA master's students graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
Radix Trading - Quantitative Technologist, C++ Intern - Radix is a Chicago quant firm, and this is C++ work on live trading systems, research infrastructure, and the tools used to analyze petabytes of data. No pay listed, but a great one for systems people who genuinely enjoy C++.
Rocket Lab - Software Intern, Fall 2026 - This one is web development for the software that supports a space-grade solar manufacturing site. Personal projects and lab work count toward the experience requirement, with Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Svelte in the nice-to-haves. On site in Albuquerque, and the usual space-industry work authorization rules apply.
Best of luck!
See you shortly,
