We made it. There were enough good roles today that I actually had to leave a few behind, which is a nice problem for once.
SpaceX, IMC, Qualcomm, Glean, Skydio, Optiver, Astranis, TikTok, and a couple smaller teams worth knowing about.

TODAY'S DROP

Best companies: SpaceX, IMC, Qualcomm, Glean, Skydio
APPLY FIRST
Level: Early career (1+ year)
Location: Hawthorne, CA / On site
Pay: $125,000-$145,000/yr
Why first: This is one of the few full-stack roles where the data comes from an actual satellite network. SpaceX asks for one year of experience, so a strong internship plus shipped projects could be enough to make this worth the swing.
Level: Internship (2027/2028 grads)
Location: Chicago / On site
Pay: $200,000/yr annualized, with housing included
Why first: IMC is hard to get into, but at least the posting tells you exactly who should apply: 2027/2028 grads with strong data structures and algorithms plus Java or C++. You do not need a finance background, and interns can earn a full-time return offer.
Level: Early career
Location: San Diego, CA / On site
Pay: $122,800-$184,200/yr
Why first: Qualcomm's AI software sits between models and the chips inside phones, laptops, cars, and XR devices. The listing only names a relevant bachelor's degree as a minimum requirement, which makes this one unusually open for the pay.
NEW GRAD / EARLY CAREER
Glean - Software Engineer, Context Platform - Glean builds AI search and agents around a company's internal knowledge. This is backend/platform work for someone with 1+ year of experience, with $140K-$265K listed.
InstaLILY AI - Software Engineer I - A smaller NYC AI company building agents for distributors and other physical-goods businesses. The role asks for 0-1 years, Python or TypeScript, and pays $100K-$120K.
Anduril - Software Engineer, Intelligence Systems - Full-stack work on defense and intelligence software in Reston. Worth a look if that industry interests you and you have one solid internship or year of experience. Pay is $129K-$171K.
INTERNSHIPS
Skydio - Software Engineer Intern, Fall 2026 / Winter 2027 - Cloud platform work for autonomous drones, including CI/CD, observability, and backend systems. Pays $47-$58/hr in San Mateo.
Optiver - Software Engineer Intern, Summer 2027 - Austin trading internship for December 2027 to June 2028 grads. You will ship code into production, and Optiver covers flights, housing, and commuting.
Astranis - Flight Software Intern, Fall 2026 - C/C++ work on software that runs on satellites, plus ground control and testing tools. It pays $29/hr and has US export-control eligibility requirements.
TikTok - Software Engineer Intern, Recommendation Infrastructure, Fall 2026 - Work on the services, data pipelines, and storage behind TikTok's recommendation system. Best for C/C++, Java, or Go students who can commit to 12 weeks this fall. Pays $45-$60/hr.
